Greywater
Save water and contribute to the global goals
Today, the global goals in Agenda 2030 place high demands on all of society’s functions to reduce their emissions of environmentally harmful substances and save water through reduced consumption and increased reuse.
Treatment plants and various industries that consume high volumes of water in their processes have extensive opportunities to contribute to the global goals by disinfecting water so that it can be reused as technical water or released into the sea without risk.
Recycling greywater
While all the greywater that a society produces is part of the global water problem, greywater also has tremendous potential. The more greywater that can be made sufficiently usable for recycling, the less fully usable drinking water needs to be used.
Anolytech’s environmentally friendly and EU-approved disinfectant solution AnoDes effectively kills harmful microorganisms in greywater so that it can be classified as technical water and recycled, potentially saving billions of litres of drinking water every year.
From greywater to technical water
Treatment plants, industries and other water-intensive activities (such as car washes and waste facilities) that want to purify and recycle their own greywater can connect Anolytech’s plant as a final step in the treatment process after waste, chemicals and organic material have been filtered out.
By continuously dosing AnoDes in the outgoing water, bacterial content can be radically lowered, resulting in technical water with an approved bacterial level that can be reused for internal processes, resold or safely released into the sea.
Improved working environment
As AnoDes does not contain any hazardous chemical substances, your own employees no longer have to deal with harmful disinfectants that require protective clothing and protective masks. Anolytech’s system also improves the working environment for those who come into contact with and use the recycled technical water for processes such as pressure washing, irrigation and street cleaning.
They are then not at risk of being exposed to water-borne bacteria or other infectious agents. The system also reduces the transport of dangerous goods, as well as the amount of packaging that needs to be taken care of.
