Helsingborg city chooses Anolytech to safeguard public buildings against legionella
Helsingborg Municipality has chosen Anolytech’s sustainable disinfection method to protect all municipal buildings and facilities against Legionella. Following a public procurement process in January 2025, Anolytech has been awarded the contract to deliver its solution, AnoDes – a pH-optimized hypochlorous acid produced through the electrolysis of water and salt.
The method effectively eliminates Legionella bacteria and prevents biofilm growth in piping systems without producing harmful byproducts. By opting for a preventive and sustainable solution, Helsingborg Municipality is setting an example for other municipalities looking to strengthen water hygiene and reduce the risk of Legionella outbreaks in public environments.
Anolytech has extensive experience in helping municipalities, property owners, and industries ensure bacteria-free water. Helsingborg Municipality’s decision to invest in AnoDes highlights the growing importance of sustainable water solutions in public health and safety efforts.
