Anolytech 20 years part 1

Laying the Foundation – Anolytech’s Start and Vision

In 2005, Anolytech was founded with a clear vision: to offer a sustainable and effective solution for water disinfection in agriculture. The company was born out of a real challenge faced by farmers – ensuring bacteria-free water for their animals without relying on chemicals or antibiotics.

From Idea to Solution

The foundation of Anolytech’s innovation was laid when the company’s founder, Stefan Fischlein, together with his brother Hans, began working with a technique based on hypochlorous acid. Initially used to treat inflammation in dairy cows’ udders, it was soon discovered that it could also be used to disinfect drinking water. However, the technology was inconsistent – sometimes effective, sometimes not at all. Stefan realized that the key lay in controlling the pH value to create a stable and effective solution.

After months of development and testing, he succeeded in creating a machine that automatically adjusted the pH level, thereby optimizing the disinfection effect. This technical solution became the core of Anolytech’s first product and a crucial factor in the company’s future growth.

The First Years – Challenges and Successes

Introducing a new technology into a traditional sector like agriculture was no easy task. Many farmers were skeptical about replacing established methods, and it took both time and education to convince them of the benefits of the new solution. By participating in trade fairs and conducting pilot projects, Anolytech gradually built trust and won its first customers.

A key success factor was that Anolytech’s machines not only improved water quality but also contributed to better animal health. By reducing bacteria in the drinking water, farmers could reduce the use of antibiotics, which was both an economic and sustainable benefit. The circular model – where farmers could produce their own disinfection solution directly on the farm – made the solution even more attractive.

A Company Takes Shape

Demand gradually increased as more farmers saw the benefits of the technology. Through dedicated efforts in education and demonstrations, the company evolved from a small startup to an established player in agricultural water disinfection. The first years were characterized by innovation and adaptation, where products were continuously improved based on customer needs and feedback. With a stable technology and a business model built on long-term customer relationships, Anolytech began to gain a foothold in the market.
